Niacinamide is an anti-inflammatory that works to reduce the swelling and redness associated with acne. It also works to regulate the amount of acne-causing oil being produced by the glands in your skin. Niacinamide is also a key active in preventing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes.
Salicylic Acid works to treat acne by unclogging blocked pores and decreasing the skin’s sebum production, leading to fewer breakouts. This BHA is oil soluble, giving it a greater degree of penetration through clogged pores than other acids. Salicylic acid also has mild anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant to protect the skin from environmental aggressors that lead to premature ageing. Additionally, it has moisturising and healing properties and helps to strengthen skin barrier function.
